I bought one jar from an exhibition last year just to try the product: oh boy I wish I have bought more. Balm spreads easy, but also holds well. The scent is very pleasant: this something you won’t find in sub par market products. All and all this is a premium balm that has come to stay in my beard grooming shelve. Well done Charlemagne!

I enjoy this product, it feels great on my mustache and beard. I was disappointed to read on the tin that it is made in China. I don't trust the integrity of ingredients on pharmaceuticals coming from China. I am concerned I might be exposed to harmful ingredients so I will not be purchasing again until manufacture of this product is moved to USA or some friendly country.

I've been using this balm for about 2 weeks now. I got the vanilla scent in particular and I will say if you are a fan of vanilla scented things this stuff smells great. Its a pleasant scent and not too overpowering or lingering. My only gripe is that the product feels drier or harder than what I have seen or read in the other reviews and photos. When I use my finger to scoop some of the balm out I sort of have to break an outer layer that feels drier and lumps up which is something I haven't encountered with other balms I've used. It takes a bit longer to emulsify in my hand palm due to the lumps but once the balm is softened up it functions as intended.
Keep in mind this issue is mostly likely isolated to my particular order. Its possible I got older product or a bad batch because as I mentioned, many other reviews don't list this as an issue. If I decide to order more or try out different scents in the future I hope the balm will be a smoother consistency.
EDIT: The company reached out to me regarding my issues with the product. Its worth mentioning that their customer support is excellent, as they provided a refund for me. I plan on giving them another shot in the future.

Der Geruch gefällt mir nicht zu 100% ich hätte es lieber natürlich und zur Bedienung an sich selbst ist die Sprühvorrichtung auch fragwürdig aber dafür überzeugt das Produkt mit dem Effekt.
Die Haare werden schön lockig (wenn man leicht wellige haare hat) und lassen sich gut strukturieren. Beim waschen geht es auch solide raus.
Für alle die kein wax benutzen wollen da es immer fettig aussieht ist das genau richtig!

As a first-time user of sea salt hair products, I have got to say it works. It makes thin hair appear a bit thicker when used in combination with a blow dryer (low-medium heat). Great for styling and making your hair sit in place while still remaining a natural look.

Ich habe es das erste mal bestellt. Bin super zufrieden. Hatte noch Volumen bis zu drei Tage im Haar. Hab aber auch kurzes Haar. Weiß nicht wie es bei langen Haaren ist.

Ist ein gutes Produkt, das man nicht zu großzügig verwenden sollte. Auch kleine Mengen, Spritzer, erreichen schon einen guten Effekt und sehr starken Halt über lange Zeit. Das Spray duftet meiner Meinung nach sehr angenehm, so ein bisschen als käme man aus einem Salzwasserbecken, wäre aber gerade jedoch vor dem Spiegel stehend seine Frisur abchecken. Für mich grandios, bei sehr dünnen Haaren würde ich aber aufpassen. Duftnote Genial! :)

There are lots of nice beard balms out there, but Striking Viking sandalwood is my favorite. Mild, pleasant scent; keeps the beard tamed and the itch away; and isn't greasy or sticky.

It’s not too strong but definitely pleasant. It works as a great conditioner and styling wax in one.
